Dog Hypothermia After Swimming

Being summer it is common for dogs to go swimming more at the cottage, home pools, etc. Even though we are approaching summer there is still a risk of hypothermia for dogs after swimming. Just like Humans need to towel off normally and dry after swimming, dogs are the same as they can get very cold and fast after swimming.

After swimming it is suggested to have enough towels to dry off your floof or put them into a warm vehicle until dry. Dogs especially with a thinner or shorter coat are more likely to be colder.
